In a recent paper published by Rock Mechanics and Rock Engineering an experimental campaign about the hydro-mechanically coupled mehaviour of reconstituted Opalinus Clay is presented.
The extended campaign includes swelling tests, oedometric compression tests and permeability measurements. The significance of the experimental findings is discussed within a constitutive framework published by our chair last year in cooperation with TU Darmstadt and BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg (Grandas et al. 2022, s. Newseintrag).
