In this paper, the authors discuss comprehensively the influence of grain size on the small-strain stiffness in granular soils using glass beads of different sizes but similar gradations, especially for gravel sized particles. It is also acknowledged that the grain size influence on sands till 2mm diameter can be concluded to be negligible.
