On the 26th of September, Prof. Mahmoud Ghazavi (K.N. Toosi University of Technology, Tehran, Iran) visited the Chair of Foundation Engineering, Soil and Rock Mechanics.

During his visit, he presented his ongoing research topics on behavior of shallow and deep foundations, CPT testing as well as soil improvement techniques. Afterwards, the common research interests and the possibilities for further collaboration between two research groups are discussed.The chair of Foundation Engineering, Soil and Rock Mechanics again is glad to have Prof. Ghazavi for this short visit and we hope this leads to a stronger cooperation.
